What does a jump throw change?

Jumping changes the grenade's release height and player movement, which changes its flight compared with the same aim point from a standing throw.

That extra trajectory can clear tall geometry or reach a landing point that a basic throw cannot. It also means the throw fails if a player copies the crosshair placement but misses the required release input.

A lineup record should say “jump throw” explicitly. Do not assume the video thumbnail, landing pin or aim point communicates the mechanic.
